Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, New York. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn.[2]

Background

Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School was established in 1962. It is named after Bishop Francis Xavier Ford, who was martyred in China in 1952. [3]

Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School is a Division I high school. There are approximately 1,300 students from the 2007–2008 school year.

American Rock Band, R.E.M.'s music video, "All the Way to Reno (You're Gonna Be a Star)" was shot at Bishop Ford in 2001. It was directed by Michael Moore and filmed by four students from the host and other local schools: Chris, 17; Steve, 17; Andy, 18; Charlotte, 13; Roger, 18; and Juan, 17.

Music artist Drake's debut music video, "Best I Ever Had," was shot at Bishop Ford in June, 2009.
